Nagpur Press Photographers Association : March 2015

The Nagpur Union Working Journalists (NUWJ), Tilak patrakar Bhavan Trust and Nagpur Press photographers Association (NPPA) jointly organised a 'Shraddhanjali Sabha' to pay tributes to late Ashok Sawane on today at Tilak Patrkar Bhavan. Here on Monday,March 30,2015 in number of prominent personalities were present and paid tribute to late Ashok Sawane for his excellent contribution in the field of photo-journalism.Sawane passed away on March 24, 2015 following a prologed illness. Former MP Banwarilal Purohit Managing Editor of The Hitvada, Group Editor of Dainik Bhaskar and member of Press Council of India Prakash Dubey, and Editorial Advisor of Lokamt Times M. Y. Bodhankar, and other senior journalists and photo journalists were present on this 'Shraddhanjali Sabha'
To paid tribute, dignitaries expressed their emotions in different ways. Former MP Banwarilal Purohit expressed that he was a master photographer and guide of hundreds of reporters who grew under his watchful eyes.
